Founded upon the principles of Christian chivalry and inspired by the counsel of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, the Sovereign Military Order of Saint Bernard continues the noble mission of the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon.
Our Order is both spiritual and practical — a living witness to the Christian ideal of defending the Faith, protecting the innocent, and serving the Church with humility and strength.
Our Patron: Saint Bernard of Clairvaux — Cistercian abbot, Doctor of the Church, and spiritual father of the Templars.
Our Identity: A sovereign, autonomous, chivalric–ecclesiastical Order guided by the Gospel and by the Rule of the Faith.
Our Symbols:
